My mom and I set out on our summer vacation by heading south. We only hit a little bit of traffic outside of Washington D.C. I got some good reading done on the way down. We stopped for lunch at Hardees. It was packed. Apparently they like their Hardees in North Carolina. Our next stop was at a Grobie's house in Wrightsville Beach, which is just outside of Wilmington. It was beautiful.
My mom's Grobie friend has a beautiful beach house. They spent most of the time talking about Josh. She did have this sign though which I thought was pretty funny.
Then we made the 1 1/2 hour drive to Myrtle Beach. We had dinner at Applebees and checked into our hotel room!
